Who we are
The Works Apps is a division of The Works Group, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, part of The Works Holdings. We are the controller of the personal data described here. This policy covers theworksapps.com. Each product has its own privacy policy for its own use. Write to us at [email protected].
What this site collects
This site has no forms, no accounts, no analytics and no advertising, and we set no cookies. Like every website, our server and Cloudflare, which serves the site at the edge, see your IP address and the browser you use, and keep ordinary technical logs for security and to keep the site running.
The chat assistant
If you use the chat on this site, the site chat is answered by an AI assistant. To write its replies, what you type in the chat is sent to Anthropic, the company that provides the AI, which is outside the UAE. We rely on your consent for that, which you give by using the chat. Do not type anything you would not want sent there. We keep the conversation, and if you leave your contact details we may use them to reply. Please do not type passwords, payment details or other sensitive information.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) we process server logs to keep the site secure and running, and what you send us to answer you, otherwise with your consent, which you give by sending it. You can withdraw consent by writing to us.
How long we keep it
We keep server logs, which hold your IP address, country, browser type, the page requested and the page you came from, for 7 days, then delete them. We keep an email and our reply for as long as needed to handle it, then delete them. We keep chat conversations, and any message you leave through the chat, for 90 days and then delete them.

This site links to our products' own sites and to other websites. They have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for them.
Your rights
You may ask what personal data we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to [email protected]. We will reply.
Governing law
Governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai (the DIFC courts excluded).
